How to Make a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
Every homeowner who reaches out to Readersmode Heating & Air should get a fair and honest experience. If something went wrong, please tell us. This page shows how to raise a complaint and what happens after. It is a general template and is not legal advice.
What You Can Raise
You can write to us about:
- Your experience when you phoned or contacted Readersmode Heating & Air
- How your personal information was handled
- Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
- How a provider we connected you with behaved
When the Problem Is a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own estimates, pricing, equipment, warranties, work and customer service. If there is a problem with work done in your home, the first step is usually to take it up with the provider directly and keep a written record.
We still want to hear about it. Feedback on providers helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of what we expect may be removed from it. Please know that Readersmode Heating & Air cannot settle contract disputes, handle warranty claims, refund a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.
Sending Your Complaint
Email contact@readersmode.lat and include:
- Your name and how to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for
After You Write
We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. Then we will look into what happened, which may mean contacting the provider. Afterward we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
Still Not Happy?
If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You may also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For concerns about HVAC contractors, your state's contractor or mechanical licensing board may be able to help too.
